About After The Curtain

After The Curtain Comes Down is my blog for things theatre related.  I’m no expert in the theatre but am a fan of things theatre related.  Whether it be going to see shows and writing my thoughts and views about them (review is a bit of a strong word) or if I’ve listened to a show’s soundtrack that I really enjoyed, or maybe found a video on YouTube that I want to share, or come across some news or gossip that has pipped my interest, this is where I’ll share it.

Like I said, I’m no expert, and so some of the things I say on here might have some of you scratching you heads in shock/shame/confusion, or maybe you’ll agree and nod away as you read.  Either way I hope you find this blog interesting and that you enjoy it.

I’m currently in rehearsals for a the play ‘The Pillowman‘ at the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham.  I’m insanely proud of being a part of this play and it deserves a great audience.  If you’re in the Birmingham area between the 31st March and the 7th April please come along and see it.
